The Mantra of Intimacy in a Prayer Room and a Daily Prayer
As an adult leading a church I just thought oh why don't we structure the church this way too and I began to reread Jesus' promises about prayer and they're absurd. The invitation is intimacy with Jesus and fruitfulness comes out of that intimacy so if we put prayer at the center we become a people of justice. If you spend time with Jesus he will take you to the poor because that's where he's always going she says. "The greatest answer to prayer is to become the prayer" She adds: Sometimes God invites you into relationship with a teenage boy whose family lives on food stamps alone who can barely make ends meet.
