The Alternative Strategy to a Focus on Working Through the Institutions of the Capitalist State

My son's strategic outlook represents a backwards adaptation to the bourgeois ideology embedded in liberal democratic institutions. He recommends those seeking change rely on the passive electoral power of classless citizens rather than the social power of workers. This sounds like precisely what base builders and labor organizers are trying to achieve. The campaigns of Sanders, AOC, etc. are showing this by abetting class formation. My sono would do well to consider whether setting out to transform the American electoral system through a political revolution isn't in fact the electoral system which is transforming them.
