The Power of the Tone of Voice
Tone is important because tone is where you communicate a lot of emotion in very kind of compressed form. It also sends signals about how you feel about the other person, right? So tone is hugely important. I agree with you that calm tone is often preferable, but not always. Just getting the emotion out on the table is actually a really important step. You're actually, yeah, you can do that calmly. All I guess, all my slight reservation about the calmest thing is, yeah, if you kind of like Dr. Spock like about everything. Totally.
