Zimbobway has grown enough maize to feed itself for only the second time in two decades. The soil is better able to cope with hotter, drier periods and then bursts of more intense rainfall. There are one point eight million small scale farmers in sambabary. That's a government statistic. And these small scale farmers, historically, have been doing toward two hecters each sorthing.
