Tree of Pearls by George Zadon
There's a great late nineteenth century novel about this that has been translated into english. It's by george zadon, and it's called tree of pearls. A lot of these captives were being trafficked by christian merchants from places like genoa and venice. So didn't that cause some problem or upset in europe ind the christian world? If you only looke at the italian sources, you would think that all the traders are generous. And then when you look at the mamlok sources, there's one, two, maybe three. Although there are a few.
