The Effect of Narrow Attention on Performance

A narrow detention does is produce an illusion of proximity. That thing you're focusing on now that finish line the stop sign appears closer to you than otherwise would. And when it looks closer, then we have a whole change in our appraisal and our mental state. I think I have what it takes to make it there increases in self efficacy and empowerment and motivation and mobilization. It has this whole cascading effect on motivation that then changes behavior. You know, can feel like magic or it's can sound like magic but it's not because it doesn't work.
