How Much Debt Are Millennials Carrying?

Millennials have an average debt load of 562,000. That tells us that a lot of them have been getting into the housing market and their reward is owing more than half a million dollars on average. When you are buying at a peak, like housing's been at in the past five, 10 years, your mortgage is going to be big. And that explains why these millennials have such a high amount of debt overall and mortgage debt as well.
