The Importance of Motivation in Music
When I fell in love with punk rock, I had a real awakening. It made me feel that it didn't matter if you knew how to play fast, if you were a virtuoso. The motivation and the integrity of the message that someone wants to communicate might be something really remedial. So the drums did that for me. And that's so very nice.
