#47 - Emptiness, with Jake Orthwein
Do Explain with Christofer Lövgren
I Have an Icy on My Cheek
Suffering has to do with reactivity where we find ourselves in a stance of either aversion or clinging to any sort of solid essence. And if something no longer has that kind of generative quality, then it's not separate from any form of suffering at all. It may seem like an itch on your cheek but there's a sense of substantiality which won't be so strong after meditation.
