Is the Fed Breaking Something?

I'm not making a prediction that this fed will behave the way the fed has more or less continuously behaved since 19 87, with allan green span. I think that strikes me as an odd way to view things. And so that talk is an inextra, inextricably linked to recession talk. But i for one, wil still be quite surprised if the fed were willing to go through and cause that kind of a financial earthquake throughout credit markets.
