Credit Suisse Is a Casualty

The company is classified as a globally systematic important bank by the Financial Stability Board. Credit Suisse lost 5.5 billion after Archigos Capital blew up in June 2021, defaulting on debt owed to the bank. It had also funded Greensell, a scandal-ridden logistics financing company which collapsed in April 2021. The main problem has been horrendously bad losses for its investment banking division.
