The Importance of Intentional Calories

In order to put on muscle, you need to intentionally enter a caloric surplus. You're paying for food that's not necessary for you to eat in order to be healthy. I don't see that same kind of energy being presented to a vegan bodybuilder. If they're doing it because they really enjoy having that kind of body, well, we all do things that are not just geared to producing the best possible world that we could because we enjoy them.
