The Bodyguard: A Musical That Was Stopped
Two women forcibly removed from the theatre, presumably since if they should stay, they would only be the way. The Montgomery Alabama Playhouse was very excited to bring the hit musical Hamilton to the theatre going public but it turns out the public had opinions. A history professor at nearby Alabama State protested that having black and Latino actors portrayed as founding fathers was insulting to the vibrant heritage of the British American community. Even a 77-year-old pastor said the characters wouldn't be singing hippity hop, but gospel or at best, the blues. And now the game where we ask famous people about obscure things is called Not My Job.
