Theo: I'm not convinced that consciousness is an emergent phenomenon that we can recreate. We haven't seemed to come any closer to hope solving all the soft problems of consciousness little in the hard ones do you need consciousness to have general intelligence? Theo: If there ever were a real AGI to emerge by 2100 and if there ever were one or more AGI that's when I think things might get interesting That's when I would put them on the low odds on that one.
