Copa Airlines' Strategic Alliance With Taka Airlines
In 1992, Copa Airlines signed a strategic alliance with Taka Airlines. The airline began flying from Tocquaman International Airport in Panama City. It was the first flight connection center in Latin America. A pilot who had lost an eye and both of his engines flamed out and hit to land on a levy.
