The Four Loops of Degree Mattering
When does your degree matter to an employer? And why? And then when does it just stop mattering? At least personally, in my experience was it matters when you're fresh out of college and you're trying to get a job. Like it was a big deal when I got hired full time at Intel and I didn't have a CS degree. It was came up in the interviews. People were like, wow, we're not sure we can hire you because you don't have a computer science degree.
