The Importance of Randomization in the Study of COVID
The study was terminated at the second interminalysis. The significance level wasn't reached, right? So they technically should have had the extra 400 patients. It became ethically unacceptable to continue to placebo arm. And then I think this is probably one of the biggest keys here: They suspended inclusions due to COVID.
