School of Thought

There are two schools of thought for how one should create a beneficial future if we have super intelligence. One is to lock them up, keep them confined, but there's also a school of thought that says that that's immoral and this shouldn't be treated like slaves. This is absolutely bankrupt in terms of the morality and the philosophy. It defies explanation as far as I'm concerned. Are these people talking to themselves?
