The Rebellion of God

When God sent his servant to his rebel subjects, we hated him. We despised him, we rejected him. Why did we do that? I think the answer is given in verse 2. He grew up before God like a little tender shoot, like a root out of parched ground. Not much hope for this, from a tree like that. Expect much of an old dry cut off tree. It didn't endorse us in our rebellion. Except few late nights, with a sudden strange ripple of pain comes across your abdomen, you pass blood,. then your own way starts to feel sort of inadequate. You might have to come to terms with something bigger and longer than yourself.
