The True Story of Eliza Belcom

Eliza spent the rest of her life in marianna belcom's father's asylum. Anne lister never completely forgave herself for betraying eliza, and she visited her in the asylum from time to time until her death. Anne started looking for somebody who would have enough money to support the life style that she wanted, but not necessarily some one to provoke that same all-consuming love. Later on in her life, she contracted a sexually transmitted infection for marianna and then passed it on to at least one other partner.
