The Choice Between a Regulated Regulator and Less Intervention

David: We are approaching a crossroad in which we have a choice between either adopting a regulatory regime not unlike great britain or the uk rather or going in the other direction toward less less intervention. He asks how much democratic controls shall we say are we willing to give up in return for crisis fighting that is speedy flexible and carries a great deal of clout? David says he's enough of a small d democrat to want uh the people to have some say in the matter.
