Introduction

Gulliver was shipwrecked on a rock close to land in 1699. He became a prisoner of the tiny people who prodded him with spears. They also shot arrows from their bows onto his hands, body and face. Gulliver's story may seem unbelievable but it is all true - he didn't make it up.
