Himetti has set himself up as an individual statesman. parallel to that is Buhan and the Sudanese Army's relationship with Saudi Arabia. So you have these Gulf powerhouses on either side. You have Egypt looking on. It is, even as I'm saying it, it is such a morass of regional and even global power plays.
Foreign powers are arming and funding opposing military leaders in Sudan, who are now battling for control of the country. It’s just the latest in a line of civil conflicts worldwide that are trending longer and more complex.
