The Principle of Optimism
It is still true that you could solve the problem if you have the knowledge, for example. There's lots of potential limitations given certain time constraints, but the way past any of those constraints is more knowledge and there's no other way to do it. By the way, all this talk reminds me of Neville's On The Beach, the book about the end of the world where we've got off of nuclear bombs and there's a nuclear fallout coming to Australia.
