A lot of implicit, subtle stuff is happening below the level of conscious awareness. For you guys that are struggling and trying to attract girls, you make a lot of assumptions about how attractive you are. You might go to a bar, and you might see a hot girl, but then you make an assumption like, i but that guy next to her is probably her boy friend. But if you actually go and talk to her and ask her, hey, who's this guy next to you? She'll say, oh, this is my gay friend, you see. That could save yourself a lot of heartache.
