What's Happening to the Trade Deadline?

A lot of these deals are tied into you get word of a trade and then it's okay this is part of something bigger in real time trying to piece together. I remember today there were trades with Detroit. I think Golden State sending Sadiq Bay off to Detroit initially and on his way to Atlanta. Jay Crowder for example here. He's been on the market for three or four months and he was finally traded.
