The Yang-Mills Theory and the Einstein Field Equations

As an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania, you were studying differential geometry. Around that time, something came through our world which was called the self dual Yang Mills equations. And rather than being what we would call second order equations, they were first order equations. How could you make those things all look more like each other? You can do it with geometric unity.
