Confirmation bias is our tendency to take in any kind of data that confirms our prior convictions and disregard data that does not conform to what we already believe. This could be the great trojan horse of all time. Politicians use fear to get us to vote. T b programmes use fear toget us to keep watching. Public health officials use fear to getting us to quit smoking.
