How to Make AI Systems Safe
I think we've kind of spoken about it briefly, but nothing is a conversation prior to but how intelligence needs to be embodied. And so for biological systems, it seems that the way we're capable of becoming good modelers or the way we can acquire a rich knowledge base from which we can make inferences and learn new things, there's this bootstrapping process. So I guess where my thinking is coming into this is I'm suggesting that to get enough traction, to get like a toehold in the bootstrapped process, that you can actually really come to robust, flexible, encompassing world models.
