The Metaprotical Layer: A New Design Space for Cryptocurrency
Bitcoin is not Oordinals away. Wallets, marketplaces, explorers all need to rely on Oord indexers. You do lose some of the decentralization of Bitcoin when you go to a Metaprotical layer. If something changed on the ordinals side, that could severely impact the BRC20 state. People have talked about kind of removing the ordinals dependency and just doing a sister protocol to bitcoin.
