The Importance of Cross Genre Collaborations
Marvin Sapp is one of the best selling gospel artists of all time. He came onto the scene when there was a big trend in genre crossovers. Marvin thinks cross genre collaborations are okay, but not when secular artists block those who started out in the gospel industry. Kanye West's album Jesus is King won several awards including Best Contemporary Christian Album at the Grammys in 2021.
