The state of texas was working on a pardon for henry methten, despite the fact that he'd been involved in two murders. Frank hamer's original plan was to take bonny and clyde. And really, frank camer was by no means a stranger to shooting first and asking questions later. His real issue was that he didn't want to have to kill a woman. But they viewed bonny not a woman. They viewed her as a syphilis ridden gargoyle. It's very old, very old school. Stepen sigal, but from under seege, not in real life.
