The NHS Is Expanding Support for Gambling Addiction
The UK's National Health Service, known as the NHS, is expanding its support for people with gambling addiction. Dr Matt Gaskell has advised the British government and the NHS standard spotty on gambling harm. The current thinking in the NHS is not that some people have addictive personalities, some don't. It's that the environment you're in can make you an addict. And of course, if we start to think about this and step back, of course that's got to be the main cause.
