The Transcontinental Railroad: A Family History

I had a feeling I would be familiar with much of what you were talking about, but I didn't realize how familiar I would be. And the oral history you talk about with your grandfather, Longchin, or Popchin as we knew him back then was something that I actually did a counter when I was in the museum back then. So this was through my grandpa Jean, Jean Wong, who was the amazing gourmand in our family and he told me incredible stories about our railroad ancestor. The railroad was so important to our family not just because of the work that was accomplished that helped bridge this divide between East and West.
