The Importance of Clarity in Writing
Everything that needs to be said is said briefly and concretely and easily, right? You need to have faith in your reader that they can extrapolate a little bit from the concretes. I get the point of the King James passage. I don't need you to translate it into these ethereals. If you can kind of hide behind the writing, it's kind of like a barrier for people to criticize your ideas. There's definitely a bit of like emperor's clothes thing going on.
