I highly suspect that we're gonna learn more about this in the show. Bill later tells Joel that once upon a time he had a partner, someone he had to look after. He doesn't really say what happened, but he essentially says that he ditched this person. In what manner that teaching took place, we don't know. I will assume that we were gonna find out Sunday night. And it feels like just the right place to stop because again, it feels like we're heading right into what's gonna happen Sunday night.
