A Graded Challenge With Penecilon?
In our hospital, if some one comes in with an infection, but has an i ge mediated penacilan alargy history, we will often give cephalus borin using something called a graded challenge. But spoil earler, there's a lot less cross reactivity between penecilons and sephalus porins than you think. And then why do we do this graded challenge with a self asporin if they have an alargy to a penecilon?
