Tolkien and Lewis's Final Move Toward Christianity
C.S. Lewis wrote two letters to Arthur Greaves after a conversation with JRR Tolkien in 1931. In one of the letters he describes how Tolkien helped him rediscover the role of Christ as the centerpiece of the story that is being told. The other letter tells us precisely what Tolkien and Lewis talked about and why it changed Lewis's mind completely.
