To study potential alternatives, Jean chose the often sweltering environment of ready-made garment factories in Bangladesh. In the factory, temperatures regularly rise above 35 degrees,. humidities in the monsoon season are regularly of the order of 65 to 75%. The majority of them don't have full air conditioning. They use very large fans.
