The Power of Glass Straws

I was in a little London hotel restaurant the other day. Ordered a cocktail with a straw I hadn't used before. It was a glass straw. The viscosity would be for the fluid, would I even turn to my wife who's sick of me complaining about straws? And I said, this is a bloody good straw. She almost fell off her seat. Best straw experience I've had in a long time.
