The Uncanny of Stories

The Drowogr represents what we would call the uncanny, and one of the things with the uncanny, that we very much keep employing over and over again. The uncanny is that which is is a sort of familiar, but not familiar, right? We can't change who we are, we're fundamentally, genetically, phenotypically, the same creatures as we were thousands of years ago,. That's not going to change spiritually as well, I would argue.
