There's so much in that early adaptive phase. I don't know how much depth we can get into it, ecause it's quite complex. But at the same time, there's a certain kind of simplicity to it. Is that as mammals, we have to learn to regulate ourselves by being co regulated with a care giver? And if we don't get fed, soothed, nurtured, held, touched, seen, loved, my loved, yes, all of that, then we're going to make it about ourselves.
