The Cabinet of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson
Thomas Jefferson the Secretary of State has a big portfolio one that he didn't particularly embrace Hamilton is sort of behaving like a prime minister. It must have really frustrated him to have Jefferson there with that kind of a Louv gently detachment when Hamilton wants to struggle and and clarify I think there's a couple of things that we have to remember about that first cabinet, says historian Julian Zelizer.
