The Three Great Heroes of Ezekiel
The name Ezekiel means God strengthens. And that was to be very much needed. He is called 83 times in the book, a new title which incidentally Jesus adopted for himself years later, Son of Men. That's rather interesting. We'll find out why as we go through the prophecy. I was bored stiff. Well now look at Ezekiel. He was a contemporary of Habakkuk's and Daniels, and Daniel actually was one of his great heroes. You will find throughout Ezekiel that he talks of Daniel as one of the three greatest, most righteous men of history. Those are the three great heroes of Ezekiel. Noah, Job and Daniel, three of the best men in their history.
