The Enlightenment, the Quintessential, Less Is More Document
In 1770, Thomas Jefferson defends a man who is suing for his freedom in Virginia. He's pulling on what resources to create this document. And he's also pulling on something in my view that I talk about in the radical declaration. The obvious hypocrisy of Thomas Jefferson writing about life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness for all humanity.
