"I just think people don't have the empathy for people who actually truly are traumatized and want to fix the problem," she says. "It's not just as easy as saying either you're for guns and you hate kids and you don't care about kids or you're anti-gun." She adds that gun owners should be able to exercise their second amendment rights, even if they aren't in favor of stricter laws.
