Is Everything Redeemable?

Maybet: I had to learn about redemption in the course of the writing, because i really did think that my career was over. And even though the novel isn't autobiographical in terms of my story, you know, it doesn't come out of me and i don't come out from it. But what she would say up until that point, and even onwards from that point, is, things are irredeemably lost. This illness has cost her everything that she ever wanted. She does then get to that place f of redemption. It's not, ouknow, comparable nt such a tragedy, but it felt tragic to me.
