The Challenges of Communicating in Space

The netflicks show away portrayed a woman astronaut and her struggle being a leader on a spaceship, but also being away from home. Did you have to deal with similar struggles while in space? On board the space station, i could use the internet, call phone and call home and talk to e family and friends. And so i really didn't feel particularly isolated. But as we move further and further away that those challenges of communication and maintaining contact with your family is going to be much more challenging.
