The Effects of Losing Face

Losing face can happen in groups, it can happen to you in your social group. As a teacher, the students will be like, they feel embarrassed. Maybe your status in that classroom, that previously you were kind of a high status position, that status gets knocked down a bit. So it can also happen to public figures, like, for example, a politician. If there's been an embarrassing scandal and the person has been sort of rejected by their party, that can cause the whole party to lose face.
