The Differences in Brain Activity Between Conservatives and Liberals

Researchers used fMRI to measure responses of conservatives and liberals as they watched 24 videos on immigration policy. They found that activity was more similar among liberal participants watching the same set of videos than conservative participants but it's almost as new activity consistently diverged between the two groups. Each group responded to the videos in a distinct way suggesting that they were in fact processing these videos differently so we call this neurodivergence or neuropolarization. It suggests that having a different interpretation responding differently to these videos can actually predict policy additive positions if you will.
